Set in the turbulence of the 1930s British India, a 14 year old boy, Jhunku, and his journey to find where he belongs.. Chittagong is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language Action Drama film featuring Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rajkumar Rao, Vega Tamotia, Sauraseni Maitra, Jaideep Ahlawat and Aldo Velasco. Chittagong was Produced by Bedabrata Pain and Anurag Kashyap. Chittagong is written by Bedabrata Pain and Shonali Bose and it is directed by Bedabrata Pain. Bohra Bros acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Chittagong was released on 12th October 2012 in Hindi,Bengali and English languages and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. Chittagong was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹35 lakh. Cinematography was done by Eric Zimmerman and editing by Aldo Velasco. The music was composed by Shankar Mahadevan along with Ehsaan Noorani, Loy Mendonsa and Shankar-ehsaan-loy. At the 2013 National Film Awards It won an award for Best Debut Film of a Director. At the 2013 National Film Awards It also won 2 awards including: Best Male Playback Singer and Best Lyrics.
