Batla House

Deputy Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Yadav receives a tip about university students involved in the 2008 Delhi bombings and faces backlash when an encounter with them is labeled as fake, but he perseveres, finds and arrests one of the students, and proves the encounter was genuine, resulting in life imprisonment for the terrorists. Batla House is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language Action Thriller movie starring John Abraham, Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Faizan Khan, Nora Fatehi, Abdul Quadir Amin and Md Faisal Ahmed. The movie is based on 2008 Batla House encounter case. T-Series in association with Emmay Entertainment, John Abraham Entertainment and Bake My Cake Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Krishan Kumar, Madhu Bhojwani, Monisha Advani, Sandeep Leyzell, Bhushan Kumar, John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar. Batla House is written by Ritesh Shah and directed by Nikkhil Advani. Panorama Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. Batla House was released on 15th August 2019 and takes a screen time of 146 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Batla House was made on a budget of ₹56 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹84 crore. Cinematography was done by Soumik Mukherjee and editing by Maahir Zaveri. The music was composed by John Stewart Eduri along with Rochak Kohli, Tanishk Bagchi, Ankit Tiwari and Taz.
