The story follows Lieutenant General Nikhil Bakshi as he shares the courageous tale of Sehmat, an undercover agent for Indias external intelligence agency, who infiltrates a Pakistani military family, gathers important information, and ultimately sacrifices her own life for the success of her mission and the liberation of Bangladesh. Raazi is a 2018 Hindi-language Action Crime film featuring Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Jaideep Ahlawat, Amruta Khanvilkar, Soni Razdan, Rajit Kapoor and Suraj Rana. Raazi was Produced by Karan Johar. Raazi is written by Bhavani Iyer and Meghna Gulzar and it is directed by Meghna Gulzar. Raazi was released on 10th May 2018. The Film was successful at box office. Raazi was made on a budget of ₹38 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹122 crore. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Ehsaan Noorani along with Loy Mendonsa. At the 2019 IIFA Awards It won 4 awards including: Best Actress in a Leading Role (Alia Bhatt), Best Film, Best Playback Singer - Male and Best Playback Singer - Female. At the 2019 Filmfare Awards It also won 5 awards including: Best Actress (Alia Bhatt), Best Film, Best Director, Best Lyricist and Best Playback Singer - Male.
