Aarakshan

A college professor supports reservations for Other Backward Classes, leading to conflicts and his resignation, but later fights back against corrupt officials and becomes chief trustee of the college. Nadiadwala, Firoz Nadiadwala and Prakash Jha. Aarakshan is written by Prakash Jha and Anjum Rajabali and it is directed by Prakash Jha. Reliance Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Aarakshan was released on 12th August 2011 and takes a screen time of 164 minutes. Aarakshan was made on a budget of ₹53 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹41 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Anjum Rajabali, Prakash Jha and Ravinder Randhawa. Cinematography was done by Sachin K. Krishn and editing by Santosh Mandal. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Ehsaan Noorani along with Loy Mendonsa, Shankar Mahadevan, Wayne Sharpe and Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
