Parag Dixit is falsely accused of drug charges, denied bail, and becomes hopeless in an overcrowded jail until he meets Nawab and eventually escapes with the help of Baba Bhai before being acquitted with the help of a new lawyer. Jail is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language Drama film featuring Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mugdha Godse, Manoj Bajpayee, Arya Babbar, Atul Kulkarni, Rahul Singh and Ashok Samarth. Jail is written by Madhur Bhandarkar, Ajay Garg, Sandeep Nath, Sharib Sabri, Raghuvir Shekhawat, Anuradha Tiwari, Toshi Sabri, Turaz, Manoj Tyagi and Anuraadha Tewari and it is directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. Percept Picture Company acquired the distribution rights for the film. Jail was released on 6th November 2009 and takes a screen time of 131 minutes. Jail was made on a budget of ₹14 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹6 crore. Cinematography was done by Kalpesh Bhandarkar and editing by Devendra Murdeshwar. The music was composed by Sharib Sabri along with Toshi Sabri, Shaarib-toshi and Shamir Tandon.
