Shamshera

Two tribesmen from the Khameran tribe, Shamshera and his son Balli, face oppression and betrayal as they fight against the British and their Indian ally, seeking justice and freedom for their people. Shamshera is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language History War film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Vaani Kapoor, Abdul Quadir Amin, Nitra Shomy, Fahim Fazli and Chandrashekhar Ban. Yash Raj Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Aditya Chopra. Shamshera is written by Karan Malhotra, Aditya Chopra and Neelesh Misra and it is directed by Karan Malhotra. Yash Raj Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Shamshera was released on 22nd July 2022 and takes a screen time of 159 minutes. Shamshera was made on a budget of ₹150 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ekta Pathak Malhotra and Karan Malhotra. Cinematography was done by Anay Goswamy and editing by Shivkumar V. Panicker.
