A police offer is hellbent to arrest a notorious terrorist who is planning to destroy Mumbai, as well as to settle a personal score with him. Insan is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language Action Crime motion picture starring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Tusshar Kapoor, Ajay Devgan and Viju Khote. The movie is based on Khadgam by Krishna Vamsi. DMS Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Keshu Ramsay. Insan is written by Krishna Vamshi and Naeem-ejaz and it is directed by K. Subhash and K. Subash. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the film. Insan was released on 14th January 2005 and takes a screen time of 141 minutes. Insan was made on a budget of ₹12 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹6 crore. Cinematography was done by Y. N. Murali and editing by Ashfaque MAkrani. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Himesh Reshammiya.
