Crime Drama History Thriller

A group of fake CBI officers carry out raids to steal money, but a suspended officer and an honest CBI officer work together to capture them. Special 26 is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language Crime Drama film featuring Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Sheirgill, Divya Dutta, Anupam Kher and Gaurav Samoley. The movie is inspired from 1987 Opera House heist. Friday Filmworks Panorama Studios in association with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kumar Mangat Pathak, Shital Bhatia and Kumar Mangat. The motion picture is written and directed by Neeraj Pandey. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Special 26 was released on 7th February 2013 and takes a screen time of 144 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Special 26 was made on a budget of ₹50 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹65 crore. Cinematography was done by Bobby Singh and editing by Shree Narayan Singh. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Himesh Reshammiya along with M. M. Kreem and Surinder Sodhi.
