A rookie cop joins an anti-extortion unit led by a tough-as-nails leader during the monsoon rains in Mumbai and must face moral challenges while chasing suspects and maintaining his principles. Monsoon Shootout is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language Action Crime film starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vijay Varma, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Neeraj Kabi, Geetanjali Thapa, Sreejita De and Banwarhlal Jhol. Sikhya Entertainment in association with DAR Motion Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Guneet Monga, Trevor Ingman, Martijn De Grunt, Shahnaab Alam and Meraj Shaikh. The motion picture is written and directed by Amit Kumar. Monsoon Shootout was released on 15th December 2017 and takes a screen time of 92 minutes. Monsoon Shootout was made on a budget of ₹12 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹71 lakh. Cinematography was done by Rajeev Ravi and editing by Atanu Mukherjee and Ewa Lind. The music was composed by Rochak Kohli along with Viveick-mayur, Chinmay Harshe, Vikram-chetan, Gingger Shankar and Atif Afzal.
