Daddy

During the decline of Mumbais textile mills, Arun Gawli and his friends turn to matka-gambling and crime, leading to his rise as a protege of Maqsood Bhai, but their relationship becomes strained, he marries and tries to leave his criminal past behind, until a police encounter leads him to take charge of their gang and engage in politics, ultimately transforming into Daddy. Daddy is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language Action Biography movie featuring Arjun Rampal, Aishwarya Rajesh, Nishikant Kamat, Anand Ingale, Rajesh Shringarpore, Purnanand Wandekar and Jayashankar Tripathi. Daddy was Produced by Arjun Rampal and Rutvij Patel. Daddy is written by Ashim Ahluwalia, Arjun Rampal, Ritesh Shah and Asad Hussain and it is directed by Ashim Ahluwalia. Raksha Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Daddy was released on 7th September 2017 and takes a screen time of 134 minutes. The film made a box office gross of ₹10 crore. Cinematography was done by Jessica Lee Gagn and Pankaj Kumar and editing by Deepa Bhatia and Navnita Sen Datta. The music was composed by Bappi Lahiri along with Wajid Ali and Sajid Wajid.
