Vishal Batra passionately shares the inspiring life of his brother Vikram, who fearlessly pursued his dream of joining the Indian Army, built strong relationships with his fellow soldiers, displayed immense bravery in saving lives, led Delta Company in avenging a friends death, achieved victory in the Kargil War, and ultimately sacrificed himself to capture a crucial bunker, leaving behind a grieving girlfriend. Shershaah is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language Action History motion picture featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Pawan Chopra, Ankita Goraya, Manmeet Kaur, Sahil Vaid and Himmanshoo A. Malhotra. Dharma Productions in association with Kaash Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Karan Johar, Shabbir Boxwala, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Ajay Shah and Himanshu Gandhi. Shershaah is written by Sandeep Shrivastava and directed by Vishnuvardhan. Amazon Prime Video acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Shershaah was released on 12th August 2021 and takes a screen time of 135 minutes. Cinematography was done by Kamaljeet Negi and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The music was composed by John Stewart Eduri along with Tanishk Bagchi, B Praak, Jasleen Royal, Javed-mohsin and Vikram Montrose.
