Tubelight

Tubelight is a war drama film set in 1962 about a mentally-challenged man named Laxman, whose brother Bharat is recruited into the Indian Army and during the war Laxman learns the importance of faith and befriends a woman and boy. Tubelight is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language Action Drama motion picture starring Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Om Puri, Matin Rey Tangu, Zhu Zhu, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Karan Maan. The movie is based on Little Boy by Alejandro G mez Monteverde. Salman Khan Films in association with Kabir Khan Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kabir Khan, Salman Khan and Salma Khan. Tubelight is written by Kabir Khan, Parveez Sheikh, Manurishi Chadha, Alejandro Monteverde and Pepe Portillo and it is directed by Kabir Khan. NH Studioz acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Tubelight was released on 23rd June 2017 and takes a screen time of 136 minutes. Tubelight was made on a budget of ₹135 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹114 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Kabir Khan and Parveez Sheikh. Cinematography was done by Aseem Mishra and editing by Rameshwar S. Bhagat. The music was composed by Pritam Chakraborty along with Julius Packiam.
