In 1966, Texas Western coach Don Haskins led the first all-black starting line-up for a college basketball team to the NCAA national championship. Glory Road is a 2006 American English-language Biography Drama motion picture starring Josh Lucas, Derek Luke, Jon Voight, Austin Nichols, Evan Jones, Schin A.s. Kerr and Aaron Mastriani. The movie is based on Glory Road by Don Haskins and Daniel Wetzel. Walt Disney Pictures in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Texas Western Productions and Glory Road Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jerry Bruckheimer. Glory Road is written by Christopher Cleveland and Bettina Gilois and it is directed by James Gartner. Buena Vista Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Glory Road was released on 25th May 2006 and takes a screen time of 106 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Glory Road was made on a budget of $30 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $42 million.
