Male model Derek Zoolander in New York City faces multiple challenges including losing his top spot, the death of his friends, and being chosen by fashion mogul Mugatu to assassinate the Prime Minister of Malaysia, but with the help of journalist Matilda, former hand model Prewett, and his rival Hansel, Derek is able to stop the assassination plot and create a new center with his friends. Zoolander is a 2001 American English-language Comedy movie featuring Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, Christine Taylor, Milla Jovovich, Jerry Stiller and Tina Kobas. Village Roadshow Pictures in association with VH1 Films, NPV Entertainment, Red Hour Productions and Scott Rudin Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ben Stiller, Stuart Cornfeld and Scott Rudin. Zoolander is written by Drake Sather, Ben Stiller and John Hamburg and it is directed by Ben Stiller. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Zoolander was released on 16th February 2006 and takes a screen time of 89 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Zoolander was made on a budget of $28 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $60 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Drake Sather, Ben Stiller and John Hamburg.
