A young Brazilian boy named Pelé, guided by his manager Vicente Feola, rises from a humble background to become a national hero and leads Brazil to victory in the 1958 World Cup, showcasing his talent, determination, and impact on the team and his country. Pelé: Birth of a Legend is a 2016 American English-language Biography Drama film starring Kevin De Paula, Vincent D onofrio, Rodrigo Santoro, Diego Boneta, Colm Meaney, Leonardo Lima Carvalho and Celine Whelan. Imagine Entertainment in association with Seine Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Brian Grazer and Ivan Orlic. The movie is written and directed by Jeff Zimbalist and Michael Zimbalist. IFC Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Pelé: Birth of a Legend was released on 5th May 2016 and takes a screen time of 107 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $7 million. Cinematography was done by Matthew Libatique and editing by Glen Scantlebury, Naomi Geraghty and Luis Carballar. The music was composed by A. R. Rahman.
