Transformers is a 2007 American English-language Action Adventure motion picture starring Hugo Weaving, Shia Labeouf, Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel, Anthony Anderson, Megan Fox and Mako San. The movie is inspired from Transformers by Hasbro. DreamWorks Pictures in association with Paramount Pictures, Hasbro and Di Bonaventura Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Tom Desanto, Don Murphy and Ian Bryce. Transformers is written by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and John Rogers and it is directed by Michael Bay. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Transformers was released on 4th August 2007 and takes a screen time of 143 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Transformers was made on a budget of $150 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $709 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. Cinematography was done by Mitchell Amundsen and editing by Paul Rubell, Glen Scantlebury and Thomas A. Muldoon. The music was composed by Steve Jablonsky.
