Whip It is a 2009 American English-language Drama Sport movie starring Elliot Page, Marcia Gay Harden, Kristen Wiig, Drew Barrymore, Juliette Lewis, Jimmy Fallon and Alice Wright. The movie is based on Derby Girl by Shauna Cross. Whip It was Produced by Drew Barrymore and Barry Mendel. The movie is directed by Drew Barrymore. Fox Searchlight Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Whip It was released on 25th March 2010 and takes a screen time of 111 minutes. Whip It was made on a budget of $15 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $16 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Shauna Cross. Cinematography was done by Robert D. Yeoman and editing by Dylan Tichenor. The music was composed by The Section Quartet.
