Jarhead is a 2005 American English-language Action Drama motion picture featuring Jake Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, Lucas Black, Jamie Foxx, Scott Macdonald, Ming Lo and Kenneth Restrepo. The movie is inspired from Jarhead by Anthony Swofford. Red Wagon Entertainment in association with Neal Street Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Douglas Wick and Lucy Fisher. Jarhead is written by William Broyles Jr and Anthony Swofford and it is directed by Sam Mendes. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Jarhead was released on 9th February 2006 and takes a screen time of 123 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Jarhead was made on a budget of $72 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $97 million.
