Soul

Joe Gardner is a middle school teacher with a love for jazz music. After a successful gig at the Half Note Club, he suddenly gets into an accident that separates his soul from his body and is transported to the You Seminar, a center in which souls develop and gain passions before being transported to a newborn child. Joe must enlist help from the other souls-in-training, like 22, a soul who has spent eons in the You Seminar, in order to get back to Earth. Soul is a 2020 American English-language Animation Adventure motion picture starring Jamie Foxx, Tina Fey, Questlove, Phylicia Rashad, Daveed Diggs, Angela Bassett and John Ratzenberger. Walt Disney Pictures in association with Pixar Animation Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Dana Murray. The movie is directed by Pete Docter and Kemp Powers. Walt Disney Studios acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Soul was released on 20th November 2020. The screenplay for the movie was written by Pete Docter, Mike Jones, Kemp Powers and Tina Fey. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner Trent Reznor along with Atticus Ross.
