A young man named Michael Oher, who comes from a troubled background, is taken in by a kind-hearted family and they help him succeed academically and athletically, leading him to become a college football player, although he questions the motivations behind their support but ultimately chooses to attend the University of Mississippi, and the film ends by showcasing Michaels successful career in the NFL.
