Carnage

Carnage is a 2011 English-language Comedy Drama film written by Yasmina Reza, Roman Polanski and Michael Katims. The movie is directed by Roman Polanski and produced by Sa D Ben Sa D under the banner of SBS Productions in collaboration with Constantin Film Produktion, SPI Film Studio, Vers til Cinema, Zanagar Films and France 2 Cin ma. Two pairs of parents hold a cordial meeting after their sons are involved in a fight, though as their time together progresses, increasingly childish behavior throws the discussion into chaos. Carnage stars Jodie Foster in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz, John C. Reilly, Elvis Polanski, Eliot Berger and Joseph Rezwin. The screenplay is written by Yasmina Reza and Roman Polanski which is inspired from Le Dieu du carnage by Yasmina Reza. The music was composed by Alexandre Desplat. Cinematography was done by Pawe Edelman and editing by Herv de Luze. The film has a running time of 80 minutes. Carnage was made on a budget of $25 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Wild Bunch.
