Flushed Away

A pet rat named Roddy accidentally gets flushed down the toilet and ends up in Ratropolis, a city in the sewers, where he meets a scavenger mouse named Rita and together they work to outsmart the villainous Toad and return to their respective homes. Flushed Away is a 2006 English-language Animation Adventure motion picture starring Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Jean Reno, Bill Nighy, Andy Serkis, Shane Richie and Patrick Pinney. Aardman Animations in association with Dreamworks Animation. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Cecil Kramer, David Sproxton and Peter Lord. Flushed Away is written by Christopher Lloyd, Dick Clement, Ian La Frenais, Joe Keenan, William Davies, Sam Fell and Peter Lord and it is directed by David Bowers and Sam Fell. DreamWorks Animation acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Flushed Away was released on 2nd November 2006 and takes a screen time of 85 minutes. Flushed Away was made on a budget of $149 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $178 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Dick Clement, Ian La Frenais, Chris Lloyd, Joe Keenan and Will Davies. Editing was done by Eric Dapkewicz and John Venzon. The music was composed by Harry Gregson-williams.
