Ingrid Thorburn is an unhinged social media stalker with a history of confusing likes for meaningful relationships. Taylor Sloane is an Instagram-famous influencer whose perfectly curated, boho-chic lifestyle becomes Ingrid's latest obsession. When Ingrid moves to LA and manages to insinuate herself into the social media star's life, their relationship quickly goes from #BFF to #WTF. Ingrid Goes West is a 2017 American English-language Comedy Drama film starring Aubrey Plaza, Elizabeth Olsen, Billy Magnussen, Wyatt Russell, Pom Klementieff, O'shea Jackson Jr. and Aidan Wallace. Star Thrower Entertainment in association with 141 Entertainment and Mighty Engine. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jared Ian Goldman, Aubrey Plaza, Tim White, Trevor White, Adam Mirels and Robert Mirels. Ingrid Goes West is written by David Branson Smith and Matt Spicer and it is directed by Matt Spicer. Neon acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Ingrid Goes West was released on 25th August 2017 and takes a screen time of 97 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $3 million. Cinematography was done by Bryce Fortner and editing by Jack Price. The music was composed by Nick Thorburn along with Jonathan Sadoff.
