A family in Edwardian London hires Mary Poppins as their new nanny and she takes the children on magical adventures while teaching them important life lessons. The movie is based on Mary Poppins by P. L. Travers. Walt Disney Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Walt Disney. Mary Poppins is written by Bill Walsh, Don Dagradi and P.l. Travers and it is directed by Robert Stevenson. Buena Vista Distribution Company acquired the distribution rights for the film. Mary Poppins was released on 3rd December 1964 and takes a screen time of 139 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Mary Poppins was made on a budget of $4 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $103 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Bill Walsh and Don DaGradi.
