Blu and Jewels family, along with their bird friends, go on an adventure to save their habitat from illegal loggers and reunite with Jewels long-lost father in the Amazon. Rio 2 is a 2014 American English-language Animation Adventure movie featuring Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Leslie Mann, Jemaine Clement, George Lopez, Jamie Foxx and Sidney Deseve. Blue Sky Studios in association with 20th Century Fox Animation. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bruce Anderson and John C. Donkin. Rio 2 is written by Don Rhymer, Carlos Kotkin, Jenny Bicks, Yoni Brenner and Carlos Saldanha and it is directed by Carlos Saldanha. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. Rio 2 was released on 10th April 2014 and takes a screen time of 101 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Rio 2 was made on a budget of $103 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $498 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Don Rhymer, Carlos Kotkin, Jenny Bicks and Yoni Brenner. Cinematography was done by Renato Falc o and editing by Harry Hitner. The music was composed by John Powell.
