Timon and Pumbaa watch the original film while fighting over the remote control, but decide to tell the story of how they met and learned about Hakuna Matata after encountering Simba. The Lion King 1½ is a 2004 American English-language Animation Adventure motion picture starring Nathan Lane, Ernie Sabella, Julie Kavner, Jerry Stiller, Matthew Broderick, Robert Guillaume and Frank Welker. The movie is inspired from Characters created by Irene Mecchi Jonathan Roberts Linda Woolverton The Lion King s Timon & Pumbaa. Disneytoon Studios was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) George A. Mendoza. The movie is directed by Bradley Raymond. Walt Disney Home Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Lion King 1½ was released on 23rd June 2005 and takes a screen time of 78 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Tom Rogers. Editing was done by Joyce Arrastia. The music was composed by Don L. Harper.
