A clownfish becomes overprotective of his only surviving child after his partner and most of their eggs are killed, and sets out on a journey with a forgetful blue tang to rescue his captured son from a dental office fish tank. Finding Nemo is a 2003 American English-language Animation Adventure film starring Albert Brooks, Ellen Degeneres, Alexander Gould, Willem Dafoe, Geoffrey Rush, Brad Garrett and Jacob Seifert. Walt Disney Pictures in association with Pixar Animation Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Graham Walters. Finding Nemo is written by Andrew Stanton, Bob Peterson and David Reynolds and it is directed by Andrew Stanton and Lee Unkrich. Buena Vista Pictures Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Finding Nemo was released on 6th June 2003 and takes a screen time of 100 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Finding Nemo was made on a budget of $94 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $941 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Andrew Stanton, Bob Peterson and David Reynolds. Cinematography was done by Sharon Calahan and Jeremy Lasky and editing by David Ian Salter. The music was composed by Thomas Newman. At the 2004 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Animated Feature.
