Aladdin and Princess Jasmines wedding is interrupted by the Forty Thieves attempting to steal a magical staff leading to the discovery of Aladdins father and a quest for the Hand of Midas. Aladdin and the King of Thieves is a 1996 American English-language Animation Adventure motion picture featuring Scott Weinger, Robin Williams, John Rhys-davies, Gilbert Gottfried, Linda Larkin, Jerry Orbach and Molly Wasserman. Walt Disney Television Animation was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Tad Stones and Jeannine Roussel. The movie is directed by Tad Stones. Walt Disney Home Video acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Aladdin and the King of Thieves was released on 13th August 1996 and takes a screen time of 81 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Mark McCorkle and Robert Schooley. Editing was done by Elen Orson. The music was composed by Mark Watters along with Carl Johnson and David Friedman.
