The story of T.E. Lawrence, the English officer who successfully united and led the diverse, often warring, Arab tribes during World War I in order to fight the Turks. Lawrence of Arabia is a 1962 English-language Adventure Biography movie starring Alec Guinness, Anthony Quinn, Jack Hawkins, Jos Ferrer, Anthony Quayle, Claude Rains and Charles Gray. The movie is inspired from Seven Pillars of Wisdom by T. E. Lawrence. Horizon Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sam Spiegel. Lawrence of Arabia is written by T.e. Lawrence, Robert Bolt and Michael Wilson and it is directed by David Lean. Columbia Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture.
