A rat named Remy helps a bumbling garbage boy become a successful chef, but their relationship is tested when the boy discovers hes the rightful owner of the restaurant they work at. Ratatouille is a 2007 American English-language Animation Comedy motion picture featuring Patton Oswalt, Ian Holm, Lou Romano, Brad Garrett, Peter O toole, Janeane Garofalo and Bill Farmer. Walt Disney Pictures in association with Pixar Animation Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Brad Lewis. Ratatouille is written by Brad Bird, Jan Pinkava, Jim Capobianco and Bob Peterson and it is directed by Brad Bird and Jan Pinkava. Buena Vista Pictures Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Ratatouille was released on 28th June 2007 and takes a screen time of 111 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Ratatouille was made on a budget of $150 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $623 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Brad Bird. Cinematography was done by Sharon Calahan and Robert Anderson and editing by Darren T. Holmes. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner Michael Giacchino. At the 2008 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Animated Feature Film of the Year.
