Poove Poochudava

An elderly woman named Poongavanathamma reluctantly lets her supposed granddaughter, Sundari, into her home, but after a series of pranks and misunderstandings, they eventually reconcile and form a strong bond, with Sundari later needing to undergo a major operation, leaving Poongavanathamma anxiously awaiting her return. Poove Poochudava is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language Drama film starring S. Ve. Shekher, Nadiya Moidu, Sukumari, Jaishankar, Anand, Girdar and Ramasami V.k. Navodaya Studio was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Appachan. Poove Poochudava is written by Fazil and directed by Am Fazil. Navodaya Studio acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Poove Poochudava was released on 23rd September 1985. Cinematography was done by P. C. Sreeram and editing by T. R. Sekhar. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
