The movie is based on Phineas and Ferb by Dan Povenmire Jeff Swampy Marsh. Disney Television Animation was the production house involved in the project. Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension is written by Jon Colton Barry, Dan Povenmire and Jeff swampy Marsh and it is directed by Dan Povenmire, Robert L. Hughes and Robert F. Hughes. Movie originally aired on Disney Channel. Disney-ABC Domestic Television acquired the distribution rights for the film.
