Shalimar the Clown tells the story of Noor and Firdaus, and their complicated love story in the context of political unrest in Kashmir. Fitoor is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language Drama Romance movie featuring Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapur, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Tabu Hashmi, Rahul Bhat, Lara Dutta and Skaterrboyy20. The movie is based on Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. UTV Motion Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Abhishek Kapoor and Siddharth Roy Kapur. Fitoor is written by Charles Dickens, Abhishek Kapoor and Supratik Sen and it is directed by Abhishek Kapoor. UTV Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Fitoor was released on 12th February 2016 and takes a screen time of 129 minutes. Fitoor was made on a budget of ₹71 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹16 crore. Cinematography was done by Anay Goswamy and editing by Deepa Bhatia. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Amit Trivedi along with Hitesh Sonik.
