Shrek

After his swamp is filled with magical creatures, Shrek agrees to rescue Princess Fiona for a villainous lord in order to get his land back. Shrek is a 2001 American English-language Animation Adventure film featuring Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, John Lithgow, Vincent Cassel, Peter Dennis and Phil Proctor. The movie is inspired from Shrek! by William Steig. Shrek was Produced by Jeffrey Katzenberg, Aron Warner and John H. Williams. Shrek is written by William Steig, Ted Elliott, Terry Rossio, Joe Stillman, Roger S.h. Schulman, Cody Cameron, Chris Miller, Conrad Vernon and Roger S. H. Schulman and it is directed by Andrew Adamson and Vicky Jenson. DreamWorks Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Shrek was released on 7th June 2001 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Shrek was made on a budget of $60 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $484 million. Editing was done by Sim Evan-Jones. The music was composed by Harry Gregson-williams along with John Powell. At the 2002 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Animated Feature.
