The Rescuers Down Under is a sequel to The Rescuers, where Bernard and Miss Bianca travel to Australia to help a young boy rescue a rare golden eagle from a poacher, and it features action scenes, a proposal, and an unexpected twist. The Rescuers Down Under is a 1990 American English-language Animation Adventure film featuring Bob Newhart, Eva Gabor, John Candy, Adam Ryen, George C. Scott, Tristan Rogers and Bill Farmer. The movie is inspired from Characters by Margery Sharp. Walt Disney Pictures in association with Walt Disney Feature Animation and Silver Screen Partners IV. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Thomas Schumacher. The movie is directed by Hendel Butoy and Mike Gabriel. Buena Vista Pictures Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Rescuers Down Under was released on 16th November 1990 and takes a screen time of 77 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of $27 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Jim Cox, Karey Kirkpatrick, Byron Simpson and Joe Ranft. Editing was done by Michael Kelly. The music was composed by Bruce Broughton.
