Shrek 2 is a 2004 American English-language Animation Adventure movie starring Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Julie Andrews, Antonio Banderas, John Cleese and Jeremy Harrington. The movie is inspired from Shrek! by William Steig. Walt Disney Pictures in association with Pixar and Disney Television Animation. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Aron Warner, David Lipman and John H. Williams. Shrek 2 is written by William Steig, Andrew Adamson, Joe Stillman, J. David Stem, David N. Weiss, Cody Cameron, Walt Dohrn, Chris Miller, David P. Smith, Conrad Vernon, Charles Perrault, Jeff Snow, Andrew Black, Anna Lotto, Michael Traynor and Juliet Walker and it is directed by Andrew Adamson, Kelly Asbury and Conrad Vernon. DreamWorks Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Shrek 2 was released on 21st May 2004 and takes a screen time of 92 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Shrek 2 was made on a budget of $150 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $928 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Andrew Adamson, Joe Stillman, J. David Stem and David N. Weiss. Editing was done by Michael Andrews and Sim Evan-Jones. The music was composed by Harry Gregson-williams.
