Major League is a 1989 American English-language Comedy motion picture featuring Tom Berenger, Charlie Sheen, Corbin Bernsen, Margaret Whitton, Dennis Haysbert, James Gammon and Bradley Weber. The new owner of the Cleveland Indians puts together a purposely horrible team so they ll lose and she can move the team. But when the plot is uncovered, they start winning just to spite her. Morgan Creek Productions in association with Mirage Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Chris Chesser and Irby Smith. The film is written and directed by David S. Ward. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Major League was released on 7th April 1989 and takes a screen time of 106 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Major League was made on a budget of $11 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $49 million. Cinematography was done by Reynaldo Villalobos and editing by Dennis M. Hill. The music was composed by James Newton Howard.
