A young orphan finds a pair of sneakers with MJ initials that give him exceptional basketball skills, leading him to become a star player for the professional team Los Angeles Knights while dealing with the selfish orphanage director who tries to take all of his money. Like Mike is a 2002 American English-language Comedy Family movie starring Lil Bow Wow, Morris Chestnut, Jonathan Lipnicki, Robert Forster, Crispin Glover, Eugene Levy and Raymond Harrington. 20th Century Fox in association with NBA Entertainment, Heller Highwater Productions and Josephson Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Barry Josephson and Peter Heller. Like Mike is written by Michael Elliot and Jordan Moffet and it is directed by John Schultz. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. Like Mike was released on 26th December 2002 and takes a screen time of 95 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Like Mike was made on a budget of $30 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $62 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Michael Elliot and Jordan Moffet.
