Destination Films in association with April Productions and RMA Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Rudy Cohen. The Contractor is written by Robert Foster, Joshua Michael Stern, Robert Katz and André Farwagi and it is directed by Josef Rusnak. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Contractor was released on 10th July 2007 and takes a screen time of 98 min. The Contractor was made on a budget of $18 million and at the box office it grossed only $2 million. Cinematography was done by Wedigo von Schultzendorff and editing by Tracy Granger and James Herbert. The music was composed by Nicholas Pike.
