Blade

A pregnant woman is killed by a vampire, but her baby survives and grows up to become a vampire hunter known as Blade, who battles against vampires in Los Angeles alongside a hematologist named Karen, while trying to stop a faction of younger vampires led by Frost from summoning the vampire blood god, La Magra, and continues his mission to fight vampires. Blade is a 1998 American English-language Action Horror motion picture starring Wesley Snipes, Stephen Dorff, Kris Kristofferson, N bushe Wright, Donal Logue, Udo Kier and Diana Lee Inosanto. The movie is based on Blade by Marv Wolfman Gene Colan. Marvel Enterprises in association with Amen Ra Films and Imaginary Forces. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Patrick J. Palmer, Wesley Snipes, Peter Frankfurt and Robert Engelman. Blade is written by David S. Goyer and directed by Stephen Norrington. New Line Cinema acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Blade was released on 21st August 1998 and takes a screen time of 120 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Blade was made on a budget of $45 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $131 million. Cinematography was done by Theo van de Sande and editing by Paul Rubell. The music was composed by Marco Beltrami along with Mark Isham.
