A junior stockbroker becomes one of the clients of Wall Street player Gordon Gekko after providing insider information that makes Gekko rich, but when he learns of Gekkos plan to dissolve a company, he resolves to disrupt it, leading to his arrest for insider trading and a confrontation with Gekko. Wall Street is a 1987 American English-language Crime Drama movie featuring Michael Douglas, Charlie Sheen, Daryl Hannah, Martin Sheen, Hal Holbrook, Terence Stamp and Colette Savage. American Entertainment Partners in association with Amercent Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Edward R. Pressman. Wall Street is written by Stanley Weiser and Oliver Stone and it is directed by Oliver Stone. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. Wall Street was released on 11th December 1987 and takes a screen time of 126 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Wall Street was made on a budget of $16 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $43 million. Cinematography was done by Robert Richardson and editing by Claire Simpson. The music was composed by Stewart Copeland. At the 1988 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Michael Douglas).
