Fences is written by August Wilson and directed by Denzel Washington. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Fences was released on 25th December 2016 and takes a screen time of 139 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Fences was made on a budget of $24 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $64 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by August Wilson. Cinematography was done by Charlotte Bruus Christensen and editing by Hughes Winborne. The music was composed by Marcelo Zarvos.
