After dying in a car accident, a couple realizes they must haunt their home for 125 years, leading them to enlist a chaotic spirit to scare off the new residents, but ultimately they find harmony with the family. Beetlejuice is a 1988 American English-language Comedy Fantasy movie starring Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Jeffrey Jones, Catherine O hara, Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton and Charles Schneider. The Geffen Company was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Michael Bender, Larry Wilson and Richard Hashimoto. Beetlejuice is written by Michael Mcdowell, Larry Wilson and Warren Skaaren and it is directed by Tim Burton. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The film has a running time of 92 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Beetlejuice was made on a budget of $15 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $74 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Michael McDowell and Warren Skaaren. Cinematography was done by Thomas E. Ackerman and editing by Jane Kurson. The music was composed by Danny Elfman. At the 1989 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Makeup.
