A clumsy MI7 agent, Johnny English, is the only surviving agent after accidentally causing the death of Agent One, and he must stop a plot to steal the Crown Jewels and prevent a prison mogul from becoming king. StudioCanal in association with Working Title Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Mark Huffam. Johnny English is written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, William Davies and Peter Howitt and it is directed by Peter Howitt. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Johnny English was released on 17th April 2003 and takes a screen time of 88 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Johnny English was made on a budget of $40 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $160 million. Cinematography was done by Remi Adefarasin and editing by Robin Sales.
