The Catcher Was a Spy is a 2018 American English-language Biography Drama film starring Paul Rudd, Mark Strong, Sienna Miller, Jeff Daniels, Tom Wilkinson, Giancarlo Giannini and Timur Sibatov. The movie is inspired from The Catcher Was a Spy by Nicholas Dawidoff. Animus Films in association with PalmStar Media, Serena Films and Windy Hill Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jim Youngs, Kevin Scott Frakes, Tatiana Kelly, Buddy Patrick and Jim Young. The Catcher Was a Spy is written by Robert Rodat and directed by Ben Lewin. IFC Films acquired the distribution rights for the film.
