Two Diplomatic Security Service Special Agents are killed during a briefcase exchange, leading Deputy U.S. Marshal Samuel Gerard to capture a fugitive who is later revealed to be Mark Sheridan, a betrayed former CIA agent, as Gerards team unravels a conspiracy and tracks Sheridan onto a freighter ship. U.S. Marshals is a 1998 American English-language Action Crime motion picture starring Tommy Lee Jones, Wesley Snipes, Robert Downey Jr., Joe Pantoliano, Kate Nelligan, Ir Ne Jacob and Dale Resteghini. Kopelson Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anne Kopelson and Arnold Kopelson. U.S. Marshals is written by Roy Huggins and John Pogue and it is directed by Stuart Baird. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the movie. U.S. Marshals was released on 23rd April 1998 and takes a screen time of 131 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. U.S. Marshals was made on a budget of $45 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $102 million. Cinematography was done by Andrzej Bartkowiak and editing by Terry Rawlings.
