The movie is inspired from Prince of Persia by Jordan Mechner. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is written by Boaz Yakin, Doug Miro, Carlo Bernard and Jordan Mechner and it is directed by Mike Newell. Walt Disney Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was released on 27th May 2010 and takes a screen time of 116 minutes.
