A young Iguanodon named Aladar and a group of prehistoric lemurs flee their home after a meteor strike and go on a journey to the nesting grounds, facing obstacles like predators and a cruel Iguanodon leader, with Aladar eventually becoming a leader and falling in love with a female Iguanodon named Neera. Dinosaur is a 2000 American English-language Animation Adventure movie starring D. B. Sweeney, Alfre Woodard, Ossie Davis, Max Casella, Hayden Panettiere, Samuel E. Wright and Tom Juddy. Walt Disney Pictures in association with Walt Disney Feature Animation and The Secret Lab. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Pam Marsden. Dinosaur is written by Thom Enriquez, John Harrison, Robert Nelson Jacobs, Ralph Zondag, Walon Green, Gregory Gunter, Shirley Pierce, Jonathan Roberts, Rhett Reese and Tamara Lusher-stocker and it is directed by Eric Leighton and Ralph Zondag. Buena Vista Pictures Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Dinosaur was released on 15th June 2000 and takes a screen time of 82 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Dinosaur was made on a budget of $127 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $349 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by John Harrison and Robert Nelson Jacobs. Cinematography was done by David Hardberger and S. Douglas Smith and editing by H. Lee Peterson. The music was composed by James Newton Howard.
