A young inventor named Rodney creates a flying robot to present to Bigweld Industries, but the companys current head stops the production of spare parts and inventions, and Rodney must rally a group of outmodes to stop their plan to use them to make expensive upgrades. Robots is a 2005 American English-language Animation Adventure film starring Ewan Mcgregor, Halle Berry, Greg Kinnear, Mel Brooks, Amanda Bynes, Drew Carey and Chris Moyles. Blue Sky Studios in association with 20th Century Fox Animation. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jerry Davis, John C. Donkin and William Joyce. Robots is written by Ron Mita, Jim Mcclain, David Lindsay Abaire, Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel and it is directed by Chris Wedge and Carlos Saldanha. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. Robots was released on 10th March 2005 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Robots was made on a budget of $75 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $262 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by David Lindsay-Abaire, Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel. Editing was done by John Carnochan. The music was composed by John Powell.
