A lion and his friends from the Central Park Zoo end up getting shipped to Kenya after chasing after their zebra friend who wanted to escape to Antarctica, but they get stranded on Madagascar where they meet lemurs and have to face off against predatory fossa. Madagascar is a 2005 American English-language Animation Adventure motion picture featuring Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sacha Baron Cohen, Cedric The Entertainer and Zlatan Zuhric-zuhra. DreamWorks Animation in association with PDI/DreamWorks. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mireille Soria. Madagascar is written by Mark Burton, Billy Frolick, Eric Darnell and Tom Mcgrath and it is directed by Eric Darnell and Tom Mcgrath. DreamWorks Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Madagascar was released on 27th May 2005 and takes a screen time of 86 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Madagascar was made on a budget of $75 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $542 million. Editing was done by H. Lee Peterson. The music was composed by Hans Zimmer.
